Well, I have to give credit where it’s due. If what Ann Coulter wrote, linked via Lynn’s blog, is correct, then this whole Herman Cain sexual harassment thing really is dirty politics.
If it’s not, then it’s a really complex form of paranoia, which I still feel the far right is completely capable of. :)
I need to be clear… I can’t stand Ann Coulter. She is quite possibly the most hate-filled person to appear on a Fox News panel, someone so spiteful, divisive, and un-loving of her fellow human beings that I don’t know why that cross around her neck doesn’t continually singe her skin. Maybe there’s makeup for that, like with tattoos.
Further: Cain has not handled this well. As I commented on Lynn’s blog:
Campaign note to Herman Cain: When you have been accused of sexual harassment at work, you really should not forget it, act like you forgot it, or say that your wife doesn’t believe it. Those are things guilty people do.
Say something like this: “Oh, yes, I remember that nonsense. There was no credibility to it, and it was settled out of court, like most of those things are.”
Being a Presidential candidate is not like being a CEO. You don’t have employees, i.e., you don’t scare people anymore. Like Lynn, you need to learn to play nice. And, like Lynn, I know you can do it. :)
